Alberto Palma (b. 1988) is a Mexican sculptor whose life has been forged by fire and metal since childhood. Born in Guadalajara and raised in Puerto Vallarta since the age of five, Alberto displayed a prodigious talent for welding as early as seven years old. By age ten, his technique already surpassed that of seasoned craftsmen, marking the beginning of a career defined by technical mastery.
A crucial turning point occurred at age 15 when he discovered the work of the renowned Mexican sculptor Feliciano Béjar. Captivated by Béjar’s innovative use of recycled materials, Alberto merged his technical skills with a unique artistic vision. Today, under his brand AP Magic, he creates one-of-a-kind pieces using stainless steel, various metals, and organic combinations of wood and beveled glass. His creative philosophy is driven by constant challenge; Alberto specializes in custom projects that push the boundaries of his craft, resulting in decorative statement pieces that transform any space into something truly unique.
