RONALD RADWANSKI
BIOGRAPHY
The last nine years as a Permanent Resident in Puerto Vallarta, Contemporary Artist Ronald Radwanski, has made his home in the Bay of Banderas. Living above the azure Pacific for two years in the jungle in Mismaloya, and six years above Old Town in Zona Romantica, to the present in Colonia Cinco de Diciembre, he has truly been inspired. For those visiting or living here, one cannot help but be influenced by the bold and bright colors of the jungle, the ocean, the sky, the flores, and the incredible sunsets.
As a painter of 25 years, his works were previously represented in 26 galleries in the USA, and a nine year tenure as a Gallery Owner and Director with ilume Gallerie, Dallas TX, A unique sensitivity and expression of color is evident in his work. He employs a tedious masking and blending process that combines Iridescent Gold, Silver, Copper, and Mother of Pearl paints with vivid colors, that reflect the environs of Vallarta.
Collaborating with Claire Guarnier, Owner at Galleria Dante, Puerto Vallarta, this prestigious gallery offers a roster of accomplished talent to those seeking cultural works to experience with three floors of art, sculpture, and jewelry. Commemorating the Artist's 25th Anniversary in 2025, he has created "Prisma de Puerto Vallarta, 71, 2025". Each year in August, Radwanski creates a unique work to reflect his progress and expressions with painting and sculpture.
The "Gran Torre"
, or Grand Tower is Acrylic on Parota wood, a durable and
sustainable tropical hardwood from Mexico and Central America. The "canvas" used for this project is valued for its strength and resistance to insects. To the viewer of the Torre, one sees strong and vivid colors combined with 24 K Gold, with Modern design influences from the bottom to the top of the sculpture. It measures 45.72 centimeters wide (18 inches) and 152.40 centimeters (60 inches) tall, In addition, as with many projects created, is the flexibility available for the client to determine the size and shape, and the metallics used to complement the color range of selections chosen.
