Professor of history of colonial architecture and urbanism from 1980 to 1983 at the National School of Anthropology and History INAH.
His art reflects Mexican culture and gives him international recognition both for his sculptural value and for the cultural value of his works, which speak of music and dance, but, above all, "of our ethnic groups, of the richness of our indigenous peoples and that has a value that cannot be compared anywhere in the world".
His modern sculptures, which propose geometry and cubism, represent the Mexican people.
